Allijah Motika

Program Specialist & Marketing Coordinator

Allijah spent most of his life in the southeastern United States before moving to Washington in 2019. His background in music found him on stages with artists like The Avett Brothers, Mipso, and George Clinton and gave him a glimpse into what it’s like to be a solo entrepreneur, promoter, marketer, and social media manager. After a variety of other ventures, Allijah joined the SBDC in 2023 to help amplify the SBDC so that more small business owners and entrepreneurs can thrive.

When Allijah isn’t helping folks at the SBDC he enjoys singing songs on the front porch with his wife, seeing beautiful places, eating delicious food, and engaging in all things nerd whether that be playing table tennis, watching anime, or traveling the world for Pokémon competitions.
